It may interest you to know that Darwin himself was a theology student and was convinced by Paley’s watch maker argument which is effectively the sole, and utterly refuted, argument made by the Intellignet Design goons. Darwin later realised that this argument was wrong and explained why. ID is the old argument that has already been thoroughly disproven. It has never reached the heights of Theory, since a theory is a hypothesis that has been supported by evidence.

Ben Steins film is dishonest and misleading on very many levels. The scientists that appeared in the film were deceived by the film makers and their comments edited to fit the film makers biased propaganda objectives. All fo this is beside the point however. The fact is that there is absolutely no evidence that supports ID. All ID arguments so far offered have been disproven by the evidence. Evidence is the core of science, not perosnal opinion, not arguments from authority. Evidence is the decider and the evidence for evolution is simply overwhelming whilst there remains not one shred of evidence that supports creationism outside of thousands of year old superstitious texts.

Hitler was a catholic. Research it. Anti-semitisim has a long history far older than Darwin’s theory. To blame the holocaust on knowledge of evolution is akin to blaming the crusades on knowledge of carpentry.

Your post has demonstrated nothing more than the ignorance that dishonest charlatans like Stein prey upon to promote their baseless agendas. An honest person faced with the facts will soon realise who is trying to mislead in this battle between Bronze Age supestition and open, unbiased inquiry. The facts are there waiting for you in countless books, scientific research papaers, experimental results from many independent fields of evidence based study. You can either investigate those resources or be content to let Stein’s dishonest rhetoric forever close your eyes to the knowledge of reality. Your choice.
